On a beautiful morning, McKena and TJ prepared for one of the biggest days of their lives—their destination wedding in Whitwell, Tennessee! This wedding was one of the most gorgeous ones I’ve had the pleasure to photograph.
TJ and McKena are huge sports fans, and TJ is even a basketball coach! They recently moved to Texas and were beyond excited to have their wedding in East Tennessee.
As the ladies got ready in the bridal suite, the men went to play basketball at the college TJ attended. As you can see, the bridal suite was perfect. Everything about it was magnificent, which made the experience that much more luxurious!
The vows were to take place at the Mountain Willow Manor, a gorgeous location with expansive grounds full of lush trees. McKena and TJ chose the best venue! The beautiful location was jaw-dropping.
The bride was a shining star! Every detail was picture-perfect, from her dress to the accessories. Honestly, these photos turned out Pinterest-worthy!
McKena almost didn’t try on the dress she picked. What a shame that would’ve been! Thank goodness the sales workers talked her into trying it on at the end of the appointment. Now, she couldn’t see herself walking down the aisle in any other dress!
The bridal party had a blast getting ready. In the bustle of the morning, the ladies were full of joy and laughter! Painting nails, doing hair and makeup, these girls were full of smiles and laughter!
Their morning was full of many touching moments. My favorite happened between the bride and her father! McKena made a gift for him, a picture of them that he could keep in his jacket pocket. He kept it there the entire night. How sweet is that!
The excitement was tangible in the air as the bride and groom prepared for one of the biggest moments of their lives. The morning could not have gone better. To take some of the pressure off, the couple opted for a first-look!
