Kelly’s Jubilee was the perfect place to bring Kailey and Mike for their elopement reception session! As newlyweds, they wanted to have a micro reception for their closest friends and family before they honeymooned in the Maldives.

This session was so low-key and relaxed! Not only were these two absolutely adorable, but they were sweet and down-to-earth. They are also expecting a little one! Congratulations, you two!

During our session, the couple shared a dinner with their friends and family underneath the twinkle lights in the woods. This small and private event allowed the family to truly celebrate all of the many joys in their world.

We spent our time talking, sharing stories, and capturing moments as they happened! I loved how we went with the flow and didn’t necessarily have a rigid shot list. This allowed us some creative spontaneity! I think it paid off.

Even so, we still took plenty of formal portraits that incorporated plenty of boho and fall-colored props, courtesy of Valy Event Co. This woven chair was the perfect throne for the bride!

Valy Event also styled the gorgeous wooden reception table. Complete with twinkle lights and a garland down the middle, the decor added so much to these photos. I love how everything came together!

As always, I made sure to get some detail shots of Kailey’s ring and dress! These kinds of photos add so much variety to your sessions, and it helps you remember the small details!

Some of those details include the tableware and cake! The peach and gold tones were so gorgeous at this autumn reception. With the woodsy background, I can’t gush enough about how perfect the set was!

Another trait I loved about the bride’s attire was the amazing mermaid train! Kailey’s dress was so stunning on her, she could have been in a bride magazine!

I had so much fun photographing your elopement reception session at Kelly’s Jubilee! Congratulations on your marriage and the little one on the way. I hope you enjoy your photos!
