Before I was a photographer, I was an elementary school teacher in Clarksville. Courtney was one of the teachers I was hired with, so being able to photograph her engagement session at Clarksville Marina was so special for me!
It was so perfect! Both of these spots are so picturesque from every angle, so it wasn’t difficult at all to find backdrops we loved! We took advantage of so many different spots. This sort of variety in a photoshoot makes my heart sing!
In addition, Courtney and Geoffrey are the sweetest and cutest couple ever!! They were so easygoing and relaxed the entire time, which definitely helped us snap some amazing pics.
As we walked around each location, we caught up and chatted about life and work, which was such a highlight for me. Courtney and I worked together for seven years, and we picked things up right where we left off.
Geoffrey, in turn, kept us laughing our heads off! He’s super cheesy and Courtney loves his jokes, even if she does give him a hard time.
We made this engagement shoot extra special by visiting the coffee shop where Courtney and Geoffrey had their first date!
Bringing them back to this special spot created the perfect atmosphere for an extra dose of love. I even surprised them with their favorite order!
It was so cute watching them relive their beginning moments and remembering all of the little things that led up to today. Their relationship has blossomed into something so strong and beautiful!
